For the first time, HKTag is launching a new format for spring – a six-week corporate round robin tournament culminating in a Grand Final. The event will take place weekly from Wednesday 24 April to Wednesday 29 May.
What’s the story?
The mid-week format allows for four teams to compete across six weeks, with each team playing each other twice. There will be a 9-player matchday squad cap, with a maximum of five players on the pitch at any time (at least two female).
This is a quicker, smaller and shorter tag format than the international seven-a-side format of the HKTag Summer Super League. Team spots are filling up fast so register your interest by emailing info@hktag.org.
Entry costs
Team entry fees are HK$2,000 for the squad and include a free pre-comp warm up session on Wednesday 17 April to familiarise groups with the rules and five-a-side format.
Unlike previous seasons, there will be no additional membership fees.
Matchday support
The Indian Recreation Club is an ideal location for an evening tournament, with plenty of spectator space, a restaurant and bar attached. All HKTag members, supporters and corporate partners are invited to come down and join the fun!
